Private classes available
If you would rather learn alone, with your friends or have a private party, you can book a private session at a time to suit you. Private class rates apply. Private classes are subject to teacher availability.

Pole Studio’s Level 1 Pole Dance ClassesThe Pole Studio’s Level 1 Pole Dance Classes:

Level 1 will introduce you to the basics of Pole Dance including dance moves, transitions, floor work, basic spins and some elements of sensual style dancing around the pole.
You will also be taught a mini routine which you will build upon each week. The aim of Level 1 is to build your confidence on and around the pole. We encourage you to 'go for it' and have fun - every pole dancer has had to learn from the start at one time or another. So don't worry, we've all been there!

At the end of this Level, you may be ready to progress to Level 2 or you may choose to have another go at perfecting your level 1 moves first.

 

Pole Studio’s Level 2 Pole Dance ClassesThe Pole Studio’s Level 2 Pole Dance Classes:

Level 2 teaches you more demanding spins, transitions, dance moves and floor work.
You will also be introduced to climbs and work up the pole. Plenty of recap work is done, as well as freestyle pole time.

At the end of Level 2, you will learn a longer and more difficult routine than in Level 1. You will feel your strength and ability to execute pole moves to be more developed by this stage.
You will feel more confident about showing off your pole skills and the chances are you feel  like a pole-aholic by this stage!

 

Pole Studio’s Advanced Pole Dance ClassesThe Pole Studio’s Level 3, 4, 5, 6 Pole Dance Classes:

Level 3 and 4/5 Pole Dance classes will be available to The Pole Studio’s students who have successfully completed Levels 1 and 2. Level 3 and 4/5 are ‘trick and spin’ orientated classes.
A significantly higher level when compared to Level 1 and 2 classes.
You will now be perfecting your upside down moves, learning new demanding ways to grip your body on the pole as well as climbing the pole and linking tricks together.
No doubt by now you are feeling muscles in places you never knew you had!

 

 

 

Advanced Pole Tricks Classes:

Advanced classes are available to advanced students, teachers and professionals. 1 hour classes are booked on the private class basis. Private rates apply.

Trial Classes:

Come and try Pole Dance for the first time R100.00 per trial class.

Tuesday & Thursday mornings R60 per class.

Pilates Classes:

Pilates Classes now on Monday evenings at 19:30-20:30, R50 per class.

ALL CLASSES MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE PLEASE.

NO CLASSES ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS!

Important Note

No stripping is involved in The Pole Studio’s Pole Dance fitness classes! Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. For Pole Dance shorts are recommended and high heels are optional. These classes are about improving your fitness, having fun & feeling great about your body, regardless of size, shape or age. You will not be required to do anything you feel uncomfortable about.
